The short version

The Nerdcave77 apps (web and iOS) collect as little as possible: a push token so we can send you article alerts and drop reminders, and nothing else. No accounts, no ads, no tracking across apps or websites, and we never sell your data.

Push notifications

If you turn on alerts, your device's push token is stored by our notification provider, OneSignal, and used only to deliver article alerts and drop reminders you asked for. Reminder choices (which drops you tapped “Remind me” on) are stored as anonymous tags on your push subscription — not tied to a name, email, or account. Turn alerts off in Settings and we stop sending them.

Saved articles

Articles you bookmark are stored only on your own device. We never see them.

What we don't do

We don't require accounts, we don't run ads, we don't use advertising identifiers, and we don't track you across other apps or websites.
